Resumo

Existem evidências consistentes que o excesso de peso corporal e as medidas antropométricas relacionadas com a distribuição de gordura estão correlacionados com o aumento do risco de morte. A obesidade (doença crônica de etiologia multifatorial) se tornou mais recente no âmbito médico-social, e com a evolução progressiva da doença, a terapêutica também se aprimorou às mais variadas cirurgias restritivas e disabsortivas, como a técnica do bypass gástrico e o sleeve. Vale ressaltar, que o abdome do paciente ex obeso apresenta significativamente excesso de tecido subcutâneo bidimensionalmente, necessitando de outra intervenção. O propósito do presente estudo é associar a cirurgia bariátrica à cirurgia reparadora, devido ao excesso de tecido epitelial dos pacientes que realizaram a cirurgia bariátrica. Foi realizado um estudo transversal, com 13 pacientes do hospital Brasília de Águas Claras e Lago Sul. Foi aplicado um questionário contendo 23 perguntas sobre idade, sexo, comorbidades associadas à obesidade, peso pré e pós cirurgia bariátrica e qualidade de vida pré e pós cirurgia bariátrica.
